Small group discipleship classes for adults.  A wide range of topics are offered, all designed to help believers live faithful lives committed to God.  These classes are offered at the same time as Awana Clubs meet.  It's a great way for parents to grow as disciples as their children are learning God's Word.

 Spring Semester

February 5-26          Building Your Dream Home
This four-week class will use Psalm 127:1 as our guide to address the topic of building a home on a true devotion to God.  It will address issues of marriage and sexuality, raising children, setting priorities, and not letting mistakes define the future.  God gives us specific instructions for our homes. Come and discover the blueprint for your dream home!
March 5-12               Living with Significance
This two-week class will explore our real purpose in life.  Everyone desires significance and satisfaction in life, but it feels so elusive to so many.  Come discover how to sift through all the noise of life to find what is most important. We will look at what the Bible teaches us about priorities, having balance in life, being bold and being significant to others.
March 2,26; April 2,9            Go Teams Training
In this one-session orientation, church members will be able to get informed and engaged in a brand new ministry focused on outreach, evangelism, and soul care for the homebound.  The goal is to get volunteers plugged into Go Teams that best fit their spiritual gifts, while getting outside the walls of the church building to connect people with the Gospel and build great connection within our community of faith.  The ministry is set to launch on Sunday evenings on April 2.  This training is required for those who will participate in Go Teams.  Later sessions TBA.
April 23-30              Spiritual Leadership
In this two-week class, you will learn about God's design for spiritual leaders, whether that leadership is exercised in the church, the business world or in the home.  This class incorporates much of the content of Henry and Richard Blackaby's book on the subject.

This three-week class will take you through the book by the same name, I am a Church Member, by Thom Rainer.  In this short yet deeply insightful work, you will learn about the attitudes that make all the difference when it comes to being a healthy, functioning church member.  Come learn about the church itself and about the joy and expectations of what being a church member is all about.
October 1-29          The Reformation Story (500th Anniversary)
500 years ago, on October 31, 1517, a nobody monk in a little no-name town in Germany made a spark that lit a fire of religious revolution.  This revolution, known as the Reformation, both rescued a corrupted faith and caused tremendous divisions.  As Baptists we are much indebted to those who went before us during this time.  Come and connect your faith to the Reformation, become familiar with the history, but even more importantly, discover the ideas that were so important that people were willing to die for them.
Nov 5 - Dec 3          Share Jesus without Fear
In this five week training come how to overcome your fear of being a bold witness for Jesus.  You may be fearful of being rejected, not knowing enough, fear of offending others, or fear of being ridiculed.  This class teaches you a natural, nonthreatening way to share the Gospel that eliminates the pressure, the arguments and the fear of failure.  Come get equipped to share.  This is an excellent training for Go Teams involvement!
