Proclaim His Love

Parable of the Mina

Aug 31, 2025

FBC family,

We are celebrating September Missions Month! We'll conclude the month with a church-wide fish fry on the last Sunday to celebrate our mission efforts together.

Many Southern Baptist churches collect mission funds three times a year, but we've chosen to focus our celebration during September. We will emphasize the importance of missions and our collective role in taking the Gospel to the world.

The Missions We Support

During September, we will focus on three key missions funds:

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (International Missions): This fund supports over 3,500 missionaries and their families through the International Mission Board (IMB). It helps fund their work in church planting, evangelism, and compassion ministries worldwide.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (North American Missions): This offering is used for church planting, disaster relief, and other mission efforts in the United States and Canada.

Eliza Broadus Offering (Kentucky Missions): As a designated fund, 100% of this money stays in Kentucky to support missions and ministries, including church planting, disaster relief, collegiate ministry, and missions’ education within our state.

Our Goal and How to Give

I'm thankful to be part of a church that is dedicated to using our resources to share the gospel both globally and locally. While not everyone can be a missionary abroad, we all can have a part in sharing the gospel.

Our goal for September Missions Month is $12,000. You can give online at https://hazardfbc.org/give (select "September Missions") or by designating your check for "September Missions."
