Heavenly Fish Fry

This Sunday we are hosting our annual September Missions conference Fish Fry. During the month we raise funds to support missions and share in the SBC Cooperative Program.

The Cooperative Program (CP) is the unified plan of giving for the Southern Baptist Convention. It is the primary financial mechanism through which Southern Baptist churches collectively fund their statewide, national, and international missions and ministries.

When we give through the Cooperative Program, we are helping with Church planting and revitalization, disaster relief and compassion ministries, leadership development and theological training, global missions and evangelism.

90% of our September Missions offering goes to fund North American and International Mission Board Missionaries, allowing them to focus on the work of sharing the Gospel. While 10% is retained for local mission scholarships. 

This Sunday we will celebrate the work that God is doing through Hazard FBC.
