Cheers, Tears and Fears
These three words sum up much of life for all of us, for we each experience many times of cheers in our lives, accomplishments, good things happening, births, graduations, love and laughter, yes thankfully life is full of cheers. As cheers are a release of positive energy in our lives that can help us develop a positive attitude and hope for life. Cheers are quite comparable to praise. Thankfully, We each will experience many cheers in our lives.
Then there are also tears- which can result from great and wonderful events and expressions of love to express deep sadness and grief. Yes, tears can be a natural and healthy way to express a wide range of emotions.-We often cry when we are overwhelmed with wonderful emotions, such as at a wedding, and can also do the same when it is an expression of deep sorrow, during the loss of a friend or family member. We each will face many tears in our lives.
And lastly there are fears, can be debilitating, and also healthy fears keep us from approaching a cliff’s edge, the fear of failure motivates us to work harder. Fear can also evoke respect. We each will also face many fears in our lives.
Today we will look at reasons to rejoice, reasons to cry and reasons for fears.
As we turn to a familiar passage, one that we often speak on during easter, actually the Sunday before easter known as the Palm Sunday- Triumphal Entry, and today we will highlight it and move to the end of this marvelous chapter of Luke 19. -We will not do an exegesis of the passage, but more of an overview
