Love Texts

This is pastor tim from Hazard First Baptist with Today’s Good News. Those of you that are married men are going to be so happy that you tuned in today. You may want to take out a pen and pad and write down some of the wonderful things that I am going to share with you today so that you can text them to your wife.

When they need to be reminded of your great love for them

For the last 24 hours, 1440 minutes, 86,400 seconds I’ve missed you. 

I love you more than pizza… and I really, really love pizza. 

I’m not going to lie, you’re hotter than the bottom of my laptop after I’ve watched way too much Netflix.

You must have worked at Starbucks? Because I like you a latte. ☕️

Me without you is like a nerd without braces, shoes without laces and ASentenceWithoutSpaces. 

I think that we will all agree that Marriage is a two way street. Marriage is all about ‘give and take. And wives know that most husbands are low maintenance-’ You give him something to eat, and then you take some time yourself.

For wives, I would encourage you to occasionally put the toilet seat up. He may think you consider his needs, and throw some confusion into his normal pattern, which may reverse this bad habit.

This may keep him happy for a while. Remember, a happy man marries the girl he loves; a happier man loves the girl he marries.

Every man wants a beautiful, understanding, economical wife and a good cook. But the law allows only one wife.” – This advice suggests we cannot expect one woman to have it all. But men should learn to love their wives and realize how unique and wonderful they are.

There you go, no extra charge for this great advice. But the best advise is found in 1 Cor 13: Love is patient, love is kind.

Love does not envy,

is not boastful, is not conceited,

5 does not act improperly,

is not selfish, is not provoked,

and does not keep a record of wrongs.

6 Love finds no joy in unrighteousness

but rejoices in the truth.

7 It bears all things, believes all things,

hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never ends.
