The sending of the 70

Today’s message goes right along with our theme for this month which is missions.

This section tells the story of Jesus sending out missionaries- 70 of them, he provides instruction to them about what they should take, and we will also read a recap of this adventure at the end of our message.  He doesn’t just send them, he gives them some very challenging instructions.

Today, we will break down the passage into three points as all good Baptist preachers do- 1. The sending of the disciples, 2. The instructions given to them, 3. A recap of the mission trip.
